So it really didn't take long for me to get stuck into this melodica. It's such a beautiful instrument - I love the way you can change the timbre with your breathe and the way it evokes nostalgia.
This week's project started out as a bit of a piano improv which I revised a little bit, then added melodica over the top, then decided to song along to, then added lots of harmonies. And for the build up at the end I added a contrabassoon and harp. Greg said he thought it was a little bit movie soundtrack-esque, and I probably have to agree. I think it's the melodica : )
